I have tried at least a dozen bike seats over the past ten years. This is the best. I LOVE it. Usually when I ride bikes I start squirming after a few minutes. After the bike ride I am in pain. I've tried several different styles, shapes, materials and had almost given up hope that there was a bike seat for me.I am a middle-aged woman with a Downtube folding bike. I ride for recreation, I only ride in the summer (we have snow on the ground all winter) and do NOT want to be in pain while riding In fact, last summer I only went for a couple of bike rides because of my low tolerance for BEHIND PAIN. This seat is cushy, wide (to fit female "butt bones") and also has springs. I am in no pain while I ride. When I hit a bump, it doesn't hurt. We do a lot of off-road/dirt road riding. The narrow mens' racing-style saddle that came with my bike caused painful bruises and made my legs numb. This saddle is very comfortable and the extra springs underneath smooth out the ride on rough surfaces. Niagara Cycle ships promptly and their customer service on another item I returned was very good. |
